Razvan Stoica is a journalist turned teacher turned publicist and technology evangelist. When Bitdefender isn't paying him to bring complex subjects to wide audiences, he enjoys writing fiction, skiing and biking. Razvan Stoica started off writing for a science monthly and was the chief editor of a science fiction magazine for a short while before moving on to the University of Medicine in Bucharest where he lectured on the English language. Recruited by Bitdefender in 2004 to add zest to the company's online presence, he has fulfilled a bevy of roles within the company since. In his current position, he is primarily responsible for the communications and community-building efforts of the Bitdefender research and technology development arm.
Bogdan Botezatu is living his second childhood at Bitdefender as senior e-threat analyst. When he is not documenting sophisticated strains of malware or writing removal tools, he teaches extreme sports such as surfing the web without protection or rodeo with wild Trojan horses. He believes that most things in life can be beat with strong heuristics and that antimalware research is like working for a secret agency: you need to stay focused at all times, but you get all the glory when you catch the bad guys.
Liviu Arsene is the proud owner of the secret to the fountain of never-ending energy. That's what's been helping him work his everything off as a passionate tech news editor for the past couple of years. He is the youngest and most restless member of the Bitdefender writer team and he covers mobile malware and security topics with fervor and a twist. Ivona Alexandra CHILI is a Forensics Engineer in the Bitdefender Cyber Threat Intelligence Lab. She has recently graduated Computer Sciences at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree. With almost three years of experience in malware reverse enginnering, she aims to become a recognized professional in the field of cyber security. She strongly believes that working in anti-malware research sharpens a multitude of technical skills that would remain dormant in any other industry.

Cristina Vatamanu specializes in anti-malware research and machine learning technologies. She spent the past seven years doing threat research at Bitdefender and developing algorithms to help fight advanced cyber-threats. She is currently doing a PhD in machine learning where she does groundbreaking research in artificial intelligence applied to malware detection.
Eduard Budaca is an antimalware researcher at Bitdefender. When not dissecting malware, he enjoys coding and playing video games. While perhaps too meticulous at times, he believes that digging deeper into the matter is often the only way to make sure that what you see is actually true.
